Download ULTRA Data

Download the Current Data File for use with ULTRA and SECTOR.

The file udata.dat contains the 2008 ULTRA and SECTOR data.
ULTRA will automatically process this file if it is saved in the folder that contains ULTRA This example is for ULTRA 9 installed in the c:\ultra9 folder..

Steps:

To Download from ULTRAFS.COM, click udata.dat with RIGHT mouse button.
To Download from TIMINGDATA.COM, udata.datwith RIGHT mouse button.
To Download from ULTRATIMER.COM, udata.dat with RIGHT mouse button.
Select "Save Target As" which will open a box containing fields "Filename" and "Save as Type".
Type into the "Filename" field: c:\ultra9\udata.dat
To the right of the "Save as Type" field click the down arrow and select "All Files".
Click the "Save" button.
When the "Download Complete" box is displayed, click the CLOSE button. BE SURE NOT to click the OPEN button or the file will be damaged.
Start ULTRA and the file will be processed automatically.

Potential Problems

This file MUST be saved in the folder containing ULTRA. As in the Steps above, you can make sure that this occurs by typing c:\ultra9\udata.dat in the "Filename:" field.
Make sure "Save As Type" is "ALL files (*.*)" in the Save As dialog box. Otherwise Windows will append (*.txt) to the filename and ULTRA will not process it.
Make sure this file is not being displayed by your browser before saving. If this happens, many browsers will save the displayed file which will be different from the originally downloaded file.
